Novel Medicine For Thalassemia

I’m working on a biotech concept aimed at making iron-chelation therapy for thalassemia much easier for patients. The idea is a **long-acting injectable formulation of deferoxamine** that could potentially replace prolonged infusions with a small injection lasting several days. There is already promising preclinical research around nanoparticles and injectable hydrogels, and i’m now exploring how to turn the concept into a real product and build the right team around it.
