Terms of use

These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") govern access to and use of the lebonassocie.fr platform (hereinafter the "Platform"), published by LE BON ASSOCIE (SAS).

The Platform connects people looking for an entrepreneurial project with project owners looking for a co-founder, through discovery, likes, and matches.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you unreservedly accept these Terms, the Terms of Sale where applicable, and the privacy policy published on the Platform.

If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the Platform.

LE BON ASSOCIE may amend the Terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on the site on the date of your use.

Registration is via Google or email and password. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

After sign-in, an onboarding flow lets you build your talent or project card. Until this flow is complete, access to Platform features remains limited to that step.

Once onboarding is complete, your card is published and you gain access to the full set of features. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.

Plans

A Free plan lets you explore the Platform, like or pass cards, match, and message a match. A paid Pro plan unlocks direct contact details, seeing who liked you, and advanced search filters, as well as the other features described on the site and in the Terms of Sale.

On sign-up, your card is public: it is visible to all members in Explorer, unless you set it to private from My card. The plan (Free or Pro) does not change this visibility.

Explorer and matching

In Explorer, you browse cards you have not yet processed (profiles or projects depending on your type). You can like a card or pass it. When interest is mutual, a match is created.

LE BON ASSOCIE does not guarantee any introduction outcome, co-founder agreement, or project success.

Messaging

A conversation with the LE BON ASSOCIE team is created automatically on sign-up; you may exchange freely there.

After a match, messaging is open to every member, on the Free or Pro plan. You do not need Pro to write to a match.

Direct contact details (phone, email, LinkedIn, website) are not shown in messaging. They are visible to the account holder and to Pro members, on the profile. Phone is optional: if you provide it, Pro members can use it to contact you directly.

Technical measures limit sharing contact details in messages between members to encourage use of the Platform.

Notifications

The Platform may send in-app notifications and emails (likes, matches, messages, relevant new profiles) according to preferences set in Settings.

You agree to provide truthful information, not impersonate others, and not publish unlawful, insulting, hateful, defamatory, discriminatory, violent, or hate-inciting content, or content that infringes third-party rights.

You must not create a fake profile (fictitious identity or deliberately misleading information) or use the Platform to promote a service, product, or activity without genuinely looking for a co-founder.

You must not attempt to circumvent Platform rules (including sharing contact details outside provided features), use bots or automated scripts, or harass other members.

LE BON ASSOCIE reserves the right to make a profile private (invisible to other members), suspend, or delete an account in case of a breach of these Terms, without prior notice and without prejudice to legal action. When a profile is hidden for a Terms violation, you can no longer change its visibility yourself. You may contest this decision by replying to the notification email.

You retain ownership of content you publish on your card and in your messages. You grant LE BON ASSOCIE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content to operate the Platform.

A public profile may be indexed by search engines. A private profile is not.

The Pro subscription is governed by the Terms of Sale. Subscription, billing, free trial where offered, and cancellation terms are detailed there.

LE BON ASSOCIE acts as a technical intermediary for introductions. It is not party to contractual or personal relationships that may arise between members.

The Platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, LE BON ASSOCIE shall not be liable for indirect damage, loss of opportunity, or harm resulting from use of the service or exchanges between members.

LE BON ASSOCIE does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may carry out maintenance.

Processing of your personal data is described in the privacy policy published on the Platform.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion disables your access and your data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy.

LE BON ASSOCIE may terminate your access in case of breach of the Terms, subject to mandatory legal provisions.

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing amicable resolution, the courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory public policy rules.
